We’re recruiting nurses to join our Core Leadership Team.

** DEADLINE – 23:59, 28th June 2020**

When nurses come together, there’s nothing we can’t get done.

We’re a new organisation of frontline nurses for frontline nurses. We want to get nurses across the UK organised, shake things up, and win the changes to our profession and our healthcare system we—and our patients—deserve.

So far we’ve been campaigning to protect nurses during COVID-19 and have done work to ensure that:

  • Nurses have access to PPE
  • The nurses who have lost their lives are never forgotten
  • That we start to #CareForOurCarers through:
    • A Living Bursary
    • 10% pay rise
    • Maximum nurse to patient ratios in the hospital and community
    • Cultural Ambassadors to tackle the discrimination which has cost the lives of Nurses of Colour

But we’re not stopping there!

We’re building a grassroots movement of nurses who are committed to transforming our healthcare system and who have the skills and confidence to win. This means we want our leadership team to keep growing and represent the breadth of knowledge and experiences within nursing.

We’re especially interested in receiving applications from nurses who identify as a Person of Colour/Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic.

Our current leadership team has members who are in the RCN and Unite. We would welcome applications from nurses who are currently members of Unison, GMB and other relevant unions.

So, if you think that there’s a crisis in nursing and you agree with what we stand for, what are you waiting for???

Check out this link here to learn more about what it means to be a member of the leadership team and for more information about us explore our website.

To apply, please complete the short application pack and equal opportunity monitoring form below and send it to support@nursesuniteduk.org

DEADLINE – 23:59, 28th June 2020.
